The idea was simple: find the best musicians to play the best music from around the planet. Groove Planet is a true collaboration; each member brings his or her own special talents, opinions, and flair to the mix in order to raise the level of music quality. Egos aside, sleeves rolled up, we've worked hard to come up with our own unique blend of arrangements, stacked vocals and intricate harmonies so that even the most recognizable songs have a fresh new vibe.

The blend of songs we choose usually starts with our personal favorites.  So you'll hear artists like Gladys Knight, Stevie Wonder, Santana, George Duke, the Doobie Brothers and the like. And then we mix in international favorites like Sade, Incognito, Bob Marley, and dozens of others to give our performances the unpredictable spice we love.

The fundamental need to bring the coolest, the funkiest, and the smoothest grooves to all of our audiences. We want every performance to be better than the last. And we want no two performances to ever be the same. The same set list? Maybe. Performing the songs the same way? Never.

We know that many different factors are considered when booking a band. We're sensitive to those, and we'll do all we can to accommodate your needs. Groove Planet consists of four to seven musicians, depending on the venue, the sound needs, and budget requirements. We're available for festivals, private parties, nightclubs, weddings and corporate events. We also enjoy performing for fundraisers, and we provide a discount for non-profit events.
